Abstract
This study explored the use of remote control devices by elderly nursing home patients. Two groups of patients were given radios, and each patient in one of the two groups was also given a remote device to simplify the task of turning the radio on and off. Over a period of 12 weeks, the experimental group showed a significantly higher rate of radio use than the control group. Keywords
