Abstract
Sufficient conditions for stability of linear time-invariant systems are shown also to be necessary. If the open-loop system can be broken up into either a series or parallel combination of "stabilizable" systems, the composite system is stable if the closed-loop transfer function is free of poles on the right-half plane.Keywords
