Abstract
Dense populations of Prorocentrum micans are reported from the Galway Bay area in 1980 and 1981. At one location a density of llx106 cells dm-3 was found co-incident with a bright red colour in the water. High concentrations of chlorophyll a and high levels of dissolved oxygen were also associated with the blooms. This publication has 9 references indexed in Scilit:
