Abstract
Preparation of 2‐biarylcarbaldehydes using an intramolecular free‐radical ispo‐substitution is described. The two aryl moieties to be coupled are pre‐associated using a glycolamide derivative. An unusual amidomethyl leaving group was successfully employed in this process. Keywords
