Auditory Multiple-Unit Activity in the Midbrain of the Tokay Gecko (Gekko gecko, L.)

Abstract
The midbrains of four adult Tokay geckos were probed with tungsten microelectrodes to determine sites of multiple-unit responses to the binaural presentation of white noise pulses. Auditory responses were found to be localized either within the torus semicircularis or at its boundaries.
