Abstract
Five yearling cattle were sprayed twice (August and September with 0.25% General Chemical 4072 (2-chloro-l-(2,4-dichlorophenyl) vinyl diethyl phosphate), and 9 cows were sprayed once (August). Both groups had a 94-95% reduction in the number of common cattle grubs (Hypoderma lineatum) encysting in the backs of treated animals, as compared with the number in untreated cattle.
