Abstract
SYNOPSIS: Nine patients who developed severe respiratory insufficiency as a consequence of acute viral bronchiolitis were artificially ventilated. Seven of the patients are now alive and well. One died because the procedure was undertaken as a last desperate measure when irreversible damage had occurred; the other died as a result of a blockage in a nasotracheal tube. This publication has 9 references indexed in Scilit:
