Abstract
Three separate acid phosphatases were found in the rat epididymal homogenate after fractionation by DEAE- and CM-cellulose chromatography as well as by electrophoresis. They differed from each other also in substrate specificity. This can possibly be utilized as an aid in their differential quantitation. Some other species including man, dog, rabbit, guinea pig and mouse also had a multiple composition of epididymal acid phosphatases. Keywords
