Abstract
This paper extends to seven species in four series the number of North American Crataegus for which agamospermy is reported. All the taxa investigated are from Ontario and apospory, often facultative, is found in all the cases reported here. The significance of these findings to North American Crataegus taxonomy and evolution is discussed. This publication has 6 references indexed in Scilit:
