Abstract
An experiment is described in which the simultaneous photodetection of two incoherent light beams chopped at different frequencies yields a direct measurement of the cross-modulation coefficient of a photocathode. This is a technique generally applicable to the measurement of small nonlinearities in photodetectors. Keywords
