Abstract
Pentobarbital anesthesia led to a decrease of noradrenaline concentrations of both cisternal cerebrospinal fluid and plasma and adrenaline concentration of plasma with a concomitant decrease in blood pressure in rats. These data suggest that pentobarbital suppresses both central and peripheral noradrenergic nervous activity. Keywords
