Abstract
The relationship of the terms ‘Distribution Factor’, ‘Quality Factor’ and ‘Relative Damage Factor’ as used by I.C.R.P. is discussed. Existing data, quantitative and qualitative, on uneven distribution of internally deposited radioactive elements are reviewed together with data on the sites of sensitive tissue, i.e. tissue at particular carcinogenic risk. Keywords
