Abstract
Half body radiation proved to be an effective method of pain relief in the management of metastatic carcinoma of the prostate. At total of 72% of the patients respond. The median response is 4.7 mo. and the median survival is 5.5 mo. Since the procedure requires only 2 hospital admissions of .apprx. 48 h, it provides an efficient use of health resources. This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
