Abstract
The effect of LiCl treatment on adrenocortical function was studied. Rats given Li orally for 2 wk demonstrated elevated a.m. resting plasma corticosterone levels compared to saline-treated controls. There was increased plasma corticosterone 2 h after a single Li injection. Dexamethasone blocked the Li-stimulated adrenal response in chronically treated rats. This publication has 5 references indexed in Scilit:
