Abstract
A method is presented for the design of an input stage such that the input admittance is the optimum for minimum noise conditions. Furthermore, this condition can be obtained for almost any chosen passive load. This has been achieved by means of 2 lossless feedback elements in a shunt and series configuration. Also presented are formulae for the noise parameters of a stage to which a rather general type of feedback has been added and the graphical representations of some noise and gain expressions.Keywords
