Abstract
The effect of finite ion temperature and a small concentration of a cooler electron component on the width and phase velocity ion-acoustic solitons in a plasma with adiabatic ions and isothermal electrons with two electron-temperatures is investigated. A small concentration of a cooler electron component leads to effects qualitatively different from those obtained in a single-electron temperature plasma. By using hydrodynamic equations for warm ions and two-electron temperature plasma, Korteweg–de Vries equation is derived. Keywords
