Abstract
The theory of part I is applied to prove several existence and non‐existence results for special cases. If N = 3, a global classical solution of P° exists, if φ ⩾ 0 has rotational symmetry. If N ⩾ 4, global classical solutions of P° do not always exist. Keywords
