Abstract
The diffusion coefficient for triplet excitons in anthracene is determined to be (1.0–0.2)×10−2 cm2sec−1, and the diffusion length 70–150 μ, in a direction perpendicular to the ab plane. The effect of surface quenching of triplet excitons is investigated, and a simple model describing the dependence of triplet lifetime on crystal thickness is proposed. Keywords
