Abstract
Cancers of the endometrium, ovary, and cervix share certain characteristics. Etiologic factors are generally environmental. Prevention of the three cancers requires further improvement in the efficiency of the available screening methods. Trials to improve survival require more accurate staging and diagnosis, in addition to the identification of more significant prognostic factors that could allow recognition of low- and high-risk groups of patients. Keywords
