Abstract
Presentation of CaseA 17-month-old boy was admitted to the hospital because of respiratory difficulty.He had experienced four attacks of otitis media, two episodes of bronchitis and one of croup. During the two months before admission he lost 0.5 kg in weight. He was otherwise well until two weeks before entry, when a cough and wheezing developed. Epinephrine was ineffective, and he was admitted to another hospital, where he was given erythromycin. A tuberculin Tine test was negative. Ten days before entry he was discharged on erythromycin therapy. Four days later fever developed, and the cough and respiratory difficulty . . .
