Sterile-neutrino solutions to the solar puzzle

Abstract
We find solutions to the solar-neutrino problem in which νe has resonant oscillations in the Sun with a sterile neutrino νx. We show that the νeνx oscillation scenario can be distinguished from standard νeνμ (or ντ) resonant oscillations by measurements of νe capture on Ga71, low-energy νe scattering (Eν1 MeV), and ν neutral-current interactions on nuclei.
