Abstract
Metacercaria of Distomum filiferum is described as being the organism responsible for the death of considerable numbers of Pelagodroma marina on the Chatham Islands. It is suggested that the release of the metacercaria of D. filiferum from its host Nematocelis megalops is actuated by the diurnal descent of the host.This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
