Abstract
In this article, the construction and validation of an environmental attitude and knowledge scale designed for children are described. The scale fills a need, expressed by several writers in environmental education, for a research instrument that has sound psychometric properties, can be used in a variety of research settings, and will allow comparisons of results across studies. Keywords
