Abstract
We apply the quark-parton model to the inelastic photoproduction of single bosons, with any number of hadrons present in the final state. We compute the total cross section and the energy and angular distributions of the bosons. We find the energy distribution to be peaked near the high-energy region, and a very sharp forward peak in the angular distribution. Experimental difficulties will make it hard to treat this process as a test of the model which, however, can be used to obtain an estimate of the various cross sections.
