Abstract
Reaction of Te-butyl carbamotelluroates with butyllithium at low temperatures resulted in efficient transmetallation to give corresponding carbamoyllithiums. A convenient one-pot procedure for nucleophilic carbamoylation using carbamoyl halides has been developed as an application of this reaction. Keywords
