Abstract
Values of vapour heat capacity and heat of vaporization are reported for ethyl ketone, ethyl propyl ketone, methyl isopropyl ketone, and methyl phenyl ether. Heat capacity measurements were conducted with the vapours at pressures of 190, 380 and 760 mm Hg in the approximate temperature range 360–500°K. The deviations of the behaviour of the vapours from that of an ideal gas are represented by second virial coefficients. Keywords
