Abstract
Plum-eye (Pl), a fully penetrant, autosomal, recessive, spontaneous mutant in Culex pipiens, is described. It is inherited independently of y and is therefore thought to be in linkage group 3. A strain homozygous for pl and y was synthesized that has a marker for each of the 3 linkage groups (maleness is used as a marker for the 1st linkage group). This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
