Abstract
The cognitive functions of the brain are important for storage and recall of information, skills, and thinking. The mechanisms operating these processes have been the object of much speculation and research. The causes of disorders of these functions may be related to neurophysiological, neuroanatomical, developmental, and psychological dysfunctions. These disturbances and some suggestions for treatment and management of patients manifesting these disorders are presented. Keywords
