Abstract
Six cases of hypertension due to renal artery stenosis were treated by renal autotransplantation, with cure in 4 cases and significant improvement in the other 2 cases. The procedure allows reconstruction of complex arterial lesions before revascularization, and should be preferred to nephrectomy whenever technically possible. Keywords
