Abstract
There occurs with greatly diminished cell growth in the presence of adenosine, a relative, or even an absolute increase of porphyrin production in the case of uroporphyrin: 3-amino-l,2,4-triazol causes a surplus synthesis of dicarboxylporphyrin at the expense of the biomass and possibly of the 3[long dash]8-carboxylporphyrine. An effect on the control mechanism is to be considered since these effects apparently do not directly concern the enzymes of porphyrin synthesis. The catalse inhibitor AT may stimulate of hemin enzyme synthesis, and cause of peroxidative degradation of porphyrin and hemin with increased cultures. This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
