Abstract
Chemical and biological evidence presented shows that Fearon''s reaction has no relation to vitamin A, for the estimation of which it was intended. It is suggested that the chromogen of the reaction is associated with aldehydic oxidation products of unsaturated fatty acids, of the type of clupanodonic acid.This publication has 4 references indexed in Scilit:
