Abstract
Stimulation of individual nodes of Ranvier, with subthreshold cathode current impulses of constant magnitude, produced a discontinuous fluctuation of potential in a range of scatter with fixed potential steps of approximately equal intervals. These results which confirmed previous observations, were discussed with reference to the ionic theory of excitation. Keywords
