Abstract
Two series of polyhydroxy derivatives of hydroporphyrins are synthesised which have the hydroxy substituents at β-positions, or in a side chain: these amphiphilic systems are tested in vivo as tumour photosensitisers, and some are found to be very effective.Keywords
