Attempted suicide with verapamil.

Abstract
A 28-yr-old woman was admitted to hospital after a suicide attempt in which she had taken 5600 mg verapamil. On admission she exhibited bradycardia and pronounced hypotension; ECG revealed AV dissociation which persisted for 7 1/2 h after admission.
