Abstract
The importance of ambulatory care and the role of the primary care clinician in tuberculosis treatment are discussed. Current antituberculosis drug regimens [streptomycin, isoniazed, ethambutol, rifampin], isoniazid-induced hepatotoxicity and drug resistance are described. The use of tuberculin skin testing in case identification is discussed. This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
