Measurements of (n, α) Cross Sections at 14 Mev

Results of activation measurements of the ($n, \alpha$) cross section of nine isotopes ranging in mass number from 59 to 133 are reported. The measurements were made at a neutron energy of 14±0.5 Mev using neutrons from the $\mathrm{D}(t, n){\mathrm{He}}^4$ reaction. The cross sections show a markedly different dependence on mass number from that reported in a previous survey.
