Abstract
Leaf-water potential (ψ) and relative water content (R) of leaves at different position on the plant were different on any one day. This was because the effect of environment on ψ and R and of age on physical and chemical properties of tissues varied with the position of the leaf. Changes with age in the physical and chemical properties of a leaf depended on the time it emerged in the life of the plant. This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
