Abstract

Perchlorate, tetrafluoroborate, and hexafluorophosphate salts containing the ions (PhSC₃H₄SPh)₂M²⁺ where M = Pd or Pt are extensively associated as 1:1 electrolytes in nitromethane. Association is preceded by loss of one of the ligand molecules.
