Abstract
A probabilistic measure of network fault-tolerance expressed as the probability of occurrence of a disconnection is proposed. A simple analytical approximation to the disconnection probability is derived and verified using a Monte Carlo simulation. The effects of the disconnection probability on the overall system's reliability are analyzed using a proposed measure of network resilience. Keywords
