Abstract
A new technique of single-particle correlation for wind-speed measurement by determining aerosol time of flight is discussed. Using this technique, single-ended remote measurement of atmospheric wind speeds has been demonstrated at ranges up to 100 m under natural aerosol conditions with less than 0.2-W continuous-wave laser power with a measurement time of approximately 1 sec. Keywords
