Abstract
ACNE KELOIDALIS nuchae (AKN) is a chronic, idiopathic, inflammatory condition that most commonly occurs in young black men and represents approximately 0.45% of all dermatoses affecting black patients.1 Although Kaposi2 first described this disorder in 1869 as dermatitis papillaris capilliti, Bazin originated the term acne keloidalis in 1872.3Keywords
