Abstract
This paper describes some summary measures which might be used in specifying the size, shape, logic, time and resource characteristics of project networks of the PERT/CPM type. The results of an investigation to determine relationships between some selected such measures and project duration increase under constrained-resource scheduling are presented, and procedures for estimating project duration increase in advance of scheduling are described. Keywords
