Abstract
The accessory salivary glands develop early in the 3d fetal month, after the primordia of the major salivary glands are well established. The time and mode of development as well as the pattern of distr. of the labial, buccal and retromolar glands were established by serial sections of fetal heads of the 3d to the 5th month. The finer histodifferentiation occurs throughout the remainder of fetal life. Keywords
