Abstract
The problem of designing a linear feedback when all state variables are not available is discussed. The design scheme is based on the output-constrained regulators developed by Levine and Athans (1970). Using the structural properties of weakly coupled systems, the problem of calculation of this regulator is considerably simplified. The algorithm proposed is very effective in solving high-dimensional control problems and leads to easy implementation in practice. Keywords
