Abstract
ACUTE lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) is a hematologic malignant disease characterized by an uncontrolled proliferation of immature lymphocytes and their progenitors. Although ALL is most common in children, a substantial proportion of cases occur in adolescents and adults.
