Abstract
Geological and palynological studies in Ontario and Quebec, supported by radiocarbon dates, suggest that the opening of the North Bay outlet and the initiation of the Stanley-Chippewa stages in the Huron and Michigan basins took place 10,000 to 11,000 years ago.Keywords
