Abstract
An unusual mammary neoplasm is described, an osteogenic sarcoma arising in a giant fibroadenoma of the left breast of a 69-year-old white woman, possibly the 116th such case to appear in the literature. Reference is made to the similar cases on record, emphasizing the apparent osseous metaplasia of the mesenchymal stroma with malignant change. It is 1 of 8 instances of sarcoma in 3309 cases of mammary malignant neoplasms observed during an 18-year interval. Keywords
