Abstract
Progress in vitreous enamelling of aluminium during the last two decades is summarised. Metal pretreatment process, enamel compositions and firing are discussed. Scope for the development of aluminium enamelling industry in India in the light of increased production of aluminium in the next plan period has been emphasised.Keywords
