Abstract
Cercaria essexensis Khan, 1960 is shown to encyst in freshwater snails and to develop into a new species of Hypoderaeum when fed to pigeons, chickens and ducklings. Different stages in the life history, except the redia and the cercaria which have been described before, are described. Keywords
