Abstract
Charged Néel walls may occur in thin crystals with surfaces normal to a single hard axis of magnetization. An expression for the energy of such walls is derived. Minimizing the energy enables the equilibrium wall width to be calculated. The results show that the wall width increases as the magnetostatic charge density of the wall increases. Keywords
